Ive just come back from governor dodge state park in southwest wi. I took my mountain bike and went camping for four days. Holy **** those hills are crazy out there. Some other campers out there informed me they made the mistake of trying to ride the trails out there once and that you would have to nuts to ride out there. Well nuts or masochistic or me a little of both. Man it made barrington hills look like kindergarten.

On a mountain bike? :wtf: Nothing there that I ran into that would be THAT bad . . . hilly, yes, but not that bad.
Now some of the roads out that way . . . :eek: :thumb::thumb::thumb:

No kidding. SW Wisconsin is awesome for the steep up/downhills.
i am mostly referring to the roads the trails got hairy at some points but it was the horseflies that killed me on the trails, thats when i hit the pavement, then it was the hills that killed me. i realized that me and this other guy out there were gettin nailed by horseflies and the only thing we had in common were buzzcuts. if you ride up there on dirt make sure you were a helmet or hat if you have short hair.
Oh man! I forgot about those horseflies! After being out there, I know understand why they are called HORSEflies -- those suckers are huge!
