I'm going through iowa a few days behind ragbrai and want to try to take their same route. I mapped it as best I could from the site but does anyone know if it is blazed with on street markings?

Yes, but they won't last. Towns take them down and many bikers take them as souvenirs. You can go straight to www.ragbrai.org (http://www.ragbrai.org) and get the daily maps.
