Great Lakes - SW Wisconsin routes

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am heading to SW Wisconsin to do a little camping and a lot of biking this week. Blue Mound State Park, Wyalusing State Park, and Wildcat Mountain State Park are on the list. Does anyone have a route or two saved to one of the mapping sites I could print off or load into the Garmin?

Check out the Horribly Hilly Hundreds, Dairyland Dare sites for their maps, and then there should be plenty of them on MapMyRide, Routeslip, etc.

My Garmin Edge is broke! I dropped it once too many times. It fell off my bike once when the mounting zip tie broke from the shaking of the rough roads. Does Garmin repair these or do I need to buy a new one?

They repair...and do a good job of it....warranty or not sometimes.
I assume you tried a hard restart first? The battery connection in them is a known problem. Dropping can cause it to no longer power up until you hard restart.

It's hard, really hard, but a great time.

Just the altimeter/elevation part doesn't work. Still usable, but I like knowing the grade and elevation.
