Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm nuts, that's for sure.
On cold mornings, I decided the normal tall glass of juice I drink right before heading out is not the ticket anymore. Nope, I stick that baby in the microwave and nuke it medium hot. Not too bad, if you're weird!
I do that to OJ, goes down smooth.
I got 2 nalgene 1/2 liter bottles, fill em up, nuke em for 4 minutes till they're scalding hot. Stick em inside my chest pockets in my jacket.
It's good for about 3 hours.
Had a 1 liter nalgene with boiling tea in it that sat in my bag for about 6 hours in 5 degree weather, still hot.

I wouldn't say warming juice is that strange.
I have a 16 oz glass at work that I put a small bottle of cranberry juice in and fill to the rim with hot water. I don't drink coffee during the day and I like the water/juice better than tea. It also makes me feel better (comfort drink) when I feel a cold coming on.

I've never heard of this!
I did once try a recipe for boiling hotdogs in Dr. Pepper. Know what you get? A sticky stove-top and a potful of exploded hotdogs.
