Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

On a 5mi expedition to the hardware store yesterday :thumb:! We rode on the sidewalk (I hate doing it, but he is still on training wheel's and just not ready for street riding) all the way there. He had a BLAST! My mom bought him a Trek Jet20 for his birthday and he has been tooling all around the neighborhood on it. He really does not need the training wheels, he's just afraid to take them off. (Shh, don't tell him, but I moved them up a little more :innocent:) He had a great time, and so did I... Now if we can just get him off of the training wheels and get his seat moved up (its down so he can get his feet on the ground) he will be FLYING in no time!

It's hard to improve on both of you having a great time unless, of course, you can persuade him to pull a trailer for your purchases. <G>

Wow that is so great. Major congratulations. My wife and I are both pretty sure that when our little guy decides to start riding a bike he is going to be one heck of a dare devil. We have a 5' retaining wall in our back yard he is sure to do drops off.
I really can't wait until I get to make a post like this. Congratulations again!

That sounds so awesome... riding with my kids is one of the greatest joys of my life and they hate the sidewalk as much as I do.
We are fortunate to have some good bike paths and MUTS starting just a block away from our house.

The problem with the MUP's around here, is THEY DON'T GO ANYWHERE!
They just tool arousnd in between corn fields! It's a good way to get from one town to another, but not to get to someplace in town..... kinda infuriating.
