How many of you guys wear a unitard (dont know the correct term-its like a one piece tri-suit) Ive done a sprint tri and saw a few people there wearing them. I am doing an olympic in a couple days and was wondering why people wear them (advantages?). I'm not going to lie, it took me a while to get used to bike lyra shorts, and these look a bit weird-all thoughts are welcomed. Thanks for the time.

Actually, they're called one-piece tri-suits, just like you said :)

Advantages: more aero than a two-piece, no exposed skin around the midriff, makes the spare tire look better :)

Disadvantages: less convenient to use the bathroom, price (hard to find one for less than $70 or $80)

I race exclusively in one-piece designs, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages dor me!
