Just got the Dawes SST 58cm in Black...
I put a Brookes B17 on it, along with a 40 degree Carbon fork, 16 spoke bladed front wheel and a different stem/bars/grips setup.
I think the FSA crank/46 tooth combo will work for now. It doesn't seem overly heavy, and the 170mm arms aren't hitting my wheel so I'm good there.
If you owned the bike, what headset, bottom bracket, and rear wheel would you go with? I'm really wanting to lighten this beast up. I've already dropped approximately 2.5lbs off the bike and it's at least 20lb still. The saddle is heavy, big time, but we'll see.
Good deep v unmachined back wheel by itself?
Good bottom bracket (I hear a good one is worth the $)?
Headset, seatpost, clamp?
Thanks.
