Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. So the metal bit around the tensioning bolt slipped over the bolt and I can't seem to get back on. It doesn't seem to affect anything, but I'm concerned about the saddle failing in the middle of nowhere. I already emailed them about this, but their answer left me more confused. Has anyone had this happen, and if so, what's the best way to remedy it?

picture? not sure what you mean.
if the bolt has slid off the frame you can loosen the bolt way up and then get the frame positioned back over the bolt...
