I was looking at these three. I will be using these for day trips and commuting with a trunk bag. Price difference is about $10 higher as you go down the list. What do you recommend? or if you like another rack like these, around this price?

Axiom Transit $24:

Delta Disc Rack: $34

Old Man Mountain "White Rock" (bottom right): $44

I completely agree, but not with the price part. I have a Jandd rack on my touring bike. They're way, way more sturdy than your average rack, and I highly recommend them. However, they're not light (the Expedition rack weighs 1kg), and they're not cheap; the rack I have costs $70. If you have the money, though, it's worth every penny.

I have a rack that's virtually identical to the Axiom Transit on my cross bike for commuting with Nashbar Daytrekker bags. I love the rack for commuting but it's no good with anything more than 30 lbs. strapped to it. I love the bags too but they're way too small for anything but commuting.

I use the Axiom Journey rack on my tour bike for shopping, foul weather commuting, and the odd weekend tour. I find it to be an excellent value much better suited to carrying 50-60 lbs.

Thanks for the tips. I'm going to go with the Jandd Standard Rack. It is very reasonably priced on Cambria Bike's website:
