So, like when you hear a rusty deraileur, do you hang you head and cry?

Yes, a lot. And point. And then laugh a little. And drink more Pabst

My SSer has dust on its saddle.

I definitely suck. It's edgy.

I see an awful lot of people on the sidewalk, with their seat's too low, on a bike too big for them, that they bought at Walmart, and hear them squeeking as their chain grinds what's left of their derailers to bits.

I see that a lot and I wonder why they don't get a single speed if they, like me, aren't terribly mechanical. I also can't help but think that their derailers aren''t doing em much good as they are going 10 MPH in a gear that is too high while I am spinning about 15 MPH.

Dunno, I guess they just suck. Maybe Walmart sucks. Perhaps this would be a good time to blame the Bush Administration, I'm not sure how, but I'm sure it's somehow their fault. If only big oil companies would lobby for bicycle education instead of suppressing the EPA. If only the EPA weren't manned by former big oil lobbiests that were placed there by the Bush administration.

Where the heck did this come from? Heh, oh well. Wait, I got it, it's because Bush sucks ass. K thx.

Hey Schiek -

How many of your dogs did you have to hitch to the fixie to make it through all four inches of the white death this morning?

Call me a poseur...a loser....a fixed gear dilettante...but...

I rode the freewheelin' MTB into work. It was either that or the wife's cross-country skis.

Good call skipping the skis...I hear your Swedish isn't that good. Maybe that's why you suck?

I won't even start to go into the reasons I suck.

-34°F at Saranac Lake this morning. Think I'll skip any bike related activities today. Maybe I'll throw on something more than the Levi jacket...where'd I leave that touque thingy.

And underneath all the snow, I'm sure the first 3" from October is still there.
