General Cycling Discussion - Hillyman back online!!!....

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

....with High Speed Internet :D
After being through some rough times and losing my interest in riding for awhile, I think I'm ready to straddle a saddle come warm weather and 'dodge some cars' again! Anybody hear been been riding for fun and not against the clock this winter? :p
Hey Hillyman!
Great to see you back from the dead! :p Check out the winter cycling forum and the commuting forum for all the freaks that defy the winter cold and get out there for the ride! ;)
I'm riding myself, albeit not a lot these days- too cold for the outdoors, but with my snazzy new trainer, I'll be ok until spring hits.

Welcome back, evil twin!
I've been putting in time on the trainer. Not much fun there. Can't wait for some warm weather to return to Illinois.

Great to see you both are still around! Seems like there are quite a few new posters here.
I was just browsing Nashbar and Performance so I know I am getting the riding fever back :D

Man I hope so!! A guy with more seniority than me took 3 straight weeks vacation covering the Hilly dates   :(
So I have to hope to get personal days for Saturday and/or Monday. If not I'll do a flying trip for Sundays ride like last year. With what little 'training' I can do it will be h*ll running a bread/cake route after that ride :D

Welcome back, Hillyman. :)
Marty, are you talking about the Hotter'N Hell Hundred? Looks like it is set for August 26th - August 29th this year. Ought to be pretty much "hotter'n hell" by then in Texas!
