I'll be moving to Japan for a year or two starting next week and was curious if anyone has any information on randonneuring in Japan. I found www.audax-japan.org via the inter-google, but I unfortunately don't read Japanese yet, so was was hoping someone else had any information. I'll be in the Chugoku region, about two hours east of Hiroshima and two hours north of Osaka as the trains go.

Contact the BC Randonneurs ... the Japan Randonneurs are sort of a "sister club" to the BC Randonneurs. The BC Randonneurs helped them get started and a number of BC Randonneurs have gone over and ridden brevets in Japan.

Below is a link to a blog for a Japanese randonneur who currently lives and rides brevets in the USA. You might be able to email him for info as he speaks/writes English and is familiar with brevets both in Japan and state side.

You can rummage through his quite active randonneuring blog using a google web page translator.
