Many awesome hikes close by. I'm sure Shadiyah and Joe know many more than I do though.
Squatters Pub downtown has good grub and I hear decent brews.

I'm up for a potluck but will be out of town next week until Friday and I'm doing the Tour de Park City the next day.
I don't know if I'm cool enough to hang out with you guys anyway. :)

We are doing a mtn bike tour Mon - Wed. Friday would be the best day for us.

Flew in yesterday at 1pm. Had a burrito and went hiking. Then went rock climbing. Pretty sweet day.

Few years back, we ate at a restaurant called "Cafe Pierpont" It was downtown, don't remember any other details. Excellent food.

Woke up yesterday morning and my buddy let me take his bike out. Threw my saddle on it, got my measurements and headed out. First I went up Mill Creek canyon. We don't have long climbs like that out on the east coast. It was pretty sweet but the dry air and the altitude really messed with my breathing.
After that I went out to explore the city and everything. It was pretty damn hot out. Was on the bike for about 8 hours or so and did over 100 miles of riding. Got back and was borderline sunburned. I woke up this morning and it was just dark. Thank God for my Guamanian skin :thumb: I didn't take too many pictures but I'll post what I got later.
Tomorrow I am going to demo some sweet Parlee or Seven at the shop here and do the Little Cottonwood climb.

Yep, that was it. Very cool up there but it was kinda crowded.

Awesome. Little Cottonwood is tough, have fun. How long are you sticking around here? There's a race/tour this Saturday in Park City if you are interested. You can race the 170 miles or tour the 100 miles. Lots of climbing either way. www.tourdeparkcity.com

Went to the Hogle Zoo today and then went indoor rock climbing at the gym. Pictures to come.

It's crazy. I got out here and met a ton of people who all want to do cool stuff and take me out and whatnot. I'll definitely make myself available one of those nights, though. I'm thinking that Thursday might be best for me but I'll have to check with my friend when he gets back from work to see what he's up to.

Sooo, yesterday rocked at the zoo. The rock climbing was so much fun. I'm thinking I prefer being outdoors, but it was nice to just get on a wall inside and go for it.

Today, after sleeping a whopping 3 hours, we went to the shop and I picked up a Seven VII to demo. Man, that is one sweet bike. Went from there up to Little Cottonwood canyon. Besides my friend and I, there was a Cat I racer there. That kid was lightning fast up that climb. I don't think I did too bad for an east coast guy, though. Right now I'm just chillin' and taking it slow for a few hours.

Friday or Saturday would be a better day for us to hang out. We're thinking just a potluck dinner and drinks at our house with whoever is in. I'm thinking (hoping) Brian is in, and a couple of our other friends too. Please say you can come over, pretty please? :)
