lala,

Welcome to the forums. So you live in the Tremont neighborhood. I lived in next to Dennison Elementry back in the 70's went to the old Lincoln Jr Hi (at least I hope they've built a new one) and Graduated from Lincoln-West in '74. Left for college and haven't been back since. I spent a lot of time riding to and from my best freinds house over off Clark and I think 14th (but it been forever) and all over the near west side.

I spent years in Cleveland Heights/University Heights/Mayfield before moving to NY. Some of my best cycling memories were on group rides with Square Wheels (bike club) in Cleveland Heights. The Chagrin river valley has a ton to offer as far as hills and scenary. Go east young man!

I spent time in Cleve Hgts in Jr hi and a couple of years after I left the west side. Lived near Scarborough and Lee in Jr Hi (Roxboro) and then again after high school I rented the third floor of one of those big houses off of Fairmount. Pretty much right behind the Baskins and Robbins at Fairmount and Mayfeild, didn't do much riding then. In High school my friend and I used to ride from Tremont to Chagrin Falls where my first girlfriend lived you are right that is beautiful country. But boy did I have fun that was a great place to live.

lala, I have heard that that whole area has changed I am contemplating coming out there for my 30th reunion if I do it will be my first time back in Cleveland since '77. I was a transplant from the Seattle area when I lived there so I left after the freeze that year. I haven't done any riding down in the Oly area except the STP but I sure do like it down there have many good freinds that call the area home. Like to go down and check out the music scene every once in a while.
