So I put in an order for a pair of Aerotech Pro cycling shorts (29.99/pair) just moments ago. I have a cheap pair from Dicks sporting goods, but havnt been very satisfied with them. Ill still use them for the cycle path with my girlfriend however... The fact that Aerotech are made in the USA, in the next state over, really won me over. I hope they are as good as Ive read about. If I like them Im going to order another pair as well.
Its time to start putting as much money into US made products as I can. The only way to help our economy is to keep OUR money HERE...
Good think they ship priority, I might be able to try them out this weekend :) Then monday I have a new camera lens coming oooo goodies :D

Minolta AF 50mm f/1.7 for my sony A200 DSLR. Wanted a lens for the low-light situations we all run into...indoor family stuff mostly :) That and the minolta, being a bit older, has a metal body! no cheap plastic!
The Pros were a little too padded for me. I like the Chamois better. But yes, Aerotech has some quality stuff.
I have 2 pr of the Pro's and love them.

I loved the old Rokkor-Xs.... do those work with the Sony DLSRs? Apparently you can get a few of them on the Canon DLSRs with some surgery, but I'm too chicken to try it.
Does anybody know how the Aerotech stuff fits? I notice their return/exchange policy is for unused items only (no surprise), which would make it somewhat expensive to find the right size :x I'm thinking about ordering a pair of bibs and a sleeveless jersey

I can't speak enough good about Aerotech. I've had one (yeah, gross, I know :)) pair for the past 2.5 years, and they still look (and feel!) great.
I'll be ordering about three new pair shortly. Giving it another week as I'm still shrinking :)

As far as I know, the only lenses to fit Sony DSLR's are the Minolta A-mount (autofocus) lenses. Minolta came out with autofocus BEFORE nikon or canon, they were the first to use autofocus. Im thinking of saving for a 70-210mm f/4 "beercan" lens as well, supposed to be VERY good lenses...
Aerotech are made here in USA, so I would imagine sizes to be very, American. Ill know more when my shorts get here. I got Large, I wear 38 pants, but my wasit is more around 36. I dont like tight jeans...I like them baggy! Whats gross about 2 1/2 year old cycling shorts? Ive had boxers last 4 years before giving up the ghost (basically falling apart). When they are comfy and fit good...they stay in use untill they fall apart!

I got my two pair in 2004 :thumb: Cathy gave Libby and me a tour of the place when we were there. I just ordered three new pair today. The old ones sure took a beating, and Lib got two years of service out of hers before she outgrew them.

I had my first pair of aerotech bibs arrive last week. I love them already :)
