I was changing the cable and either, I don't know what I'm doing, or I took apart too many things to get the cable out. I got the cable out, but I lost one of the screws that holds the brake lever to the black shifter. Does anyone know if one can buy spare parts, or am I SOL and need to buy a new brifter. They are the Tiagra flight deck ones. I really like them and would hate to have to buy a new brifter for the place of a screw.

Also does anyone know of a schematic drawing of the brifter so that I can see where the parts go as I rebuild this.

Also, for the left side is there a an easier way to take out the cable with almost completely taking apart the brifter.

Yeah, you went a little far. No need to take them apart to replace cables. Here's some technical documents from Shimano that should help. Good luck with that screw..!

Thanks for the schematic. After some research, it ended up being the ST-4400. But, I talked with Brian, expecting to be told that the screws do not exist and I would have to replace the entire brifter, but they had the screw and he is sending it to me free of charge.

What great customer service Shimano.

Also, after looking at the cable replacement steps, I could have hit myself in the head. It seems like a V-8 moment. So, I will replace the other side with quite a bit of ease. I have never had to work with these before and I guess I should have looked at the manual 1st. So, once I put these back together I should be in business.
