Miles For Hope charity bike tour will be held Sept 20, 2008 in Clearwater, Florida at Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex.
Help make a difference. Funds will be used for Brain Tumor Research. One of the MilesForHope.org founders Robert Gibbs is a Brain Tumor Survivor! He had his second surgery May 15th to remove his brain tumor and was on a bike (after several years of not riding) 3 weeks after surgery. He will be participating in the 100k event, if he can do it, so can you!
The route will be similar to the Old Diabetes Route. Registrants will receive an Event Tshirt, continental breakfast before event, rest stops with refreshments on the routes, live entertainment after, free pasta lunch after tour (provided by Outback & Macaroni Grill). Amazing Prizes and giveaways.
No minimum fundraising amount required to participate. Registration fees are listed at www.milesforhope.org Earn a free event cycling jersey by raising $500 in pledges. See web page for details.
We are also in need of volunteers for the event or anyone interested in donating to this great cause!
