Hey guys - I'm going to be in Mcgaheysville, VA (I think it's close to Elkton) next week and I'm planning on bringing my bike. Can anyone suggest any rides (20 - 40 miles) close to where I'm staying?

good climb out of Elkton to the Pwky, be careful on the way back down as it is only two lanes until you hit the base.

The Shenandoah Valley Bike Festival is this weekend. Info at http://www.svbcoalition.org/events/shenandoah-valley-bicycle-festival/. Maps and cue sheets are online, so you could roll your own 25-100 mile ride. The SV Bike Coalition has a list of rides (http://www.svbcoalition.org/ridemaps.php) that may work for you, too (I don't ride out there, so can't recommend any of the rides).
