How many of you have 2 sets of wheels or do you just change tires for street use?

Working on building up a second set just for that reason. Seems cheaper (although not quite as fun) as a different bike.

I've 2 sets of wheels for my 'cross bike; off-road and on-road wheels.

I just built up a tubular wheelset for racing, but I'll probably still be changing between slicks and knobbies on the clincher (training and pit) wheelset. PITA but hey.

I change bikes for street use.

Actually, I got sick of knobbies on, knobbies off, fenders on, fenders off, rack on, rack off, readjusting the brakes everytime I changed wheels (one was touring oriented and wider), and being without a commuter when the cross season arrived.

I bought a touring bike to cut down on all the bloody changeovers. The cross bike was spending more time on the repair stand than on the road and trail.

2 sets here......one off road capable tires and a wider cassette.......another with 23's and a road cassette.
Both Mavic Open Pro's with Ultegra hubs. Love them.

After a while you just have wheels laying around all over the place :D

Three sets: 1 set tubular w/cross tires, 1 set clincher w/cross tires, 1 set clincher w/25mm road tires for messing around and commuting. But I'm getting a new cross frame this year, so I guess I'll technically only have 1.5 sets per bike.

I have two wheel-sets: first are a new Fuji Cross take off's;
Shimano hub
Front wheel 32 black spokes radial
Rear wheel has 32 black spokes 3X
Total weight for the pair 1964g
Tired with 700cx28 Gatorbacks for fast weekend rides.

A second, 36 spoke French wheelset;
Shimano /Mach 1 700c- 29er Mountain bike Wheel
36 hole Mach1 EXE double wall aero profile rims, strong and lite 23 mm total width.
Silver Shimano Deore front hub, Shimano c201 8-9 speed rear.
