I want to replace the original fork on my CAAD 5 with an Alpha Q extreme fork (450 mm steerer). A 300 mm steerer is not long enough for me and the extension and stem I am using are heavy and unattractive. The CAAD 5 frame uses integrated headset, the Alpha Q extreme only comes in non-integrated. Other than appearance are there any problems with the function of this frame-fork. I have searched the many threads on this subject and it seems I should be OK. Can anyone confirm?
Thanks
