I'm seeing a surgeon in august for an elbow injury i suffered in april...i posted about it a few weeks ago: Popeye's elbow. I have a bone chip resulting from a crash and probably bursitis from the infection...

Anyways, I don't know if they'll recommend surgery for the bone chip or draining the fluidk but if they do, it'll probably be some sort of arthroscopic surgery.
Anyone ever have this? i'm probably not going to have it until after the summer so it won't affect riding, but I am just interested in how long it takes to heal, etc...

share your experiences!!!

I have had it on my knee and ankle. Compared to the regular surgery on both knees and one ankle it is a piece of cake.

lol i'm sure...apparently they don't even use stitches- i guess i'll ask the surgeon when i see him, but it's nice to get people's experiences.
