Electric Bikes - Are gas powered bikes welcome here too?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I own a 90hp boat, 1 ATV, a full size truck, a chainsaw, lawnmower, and a power ice auger.
Why would I be upset about gasoline powered bicycles?
And, yes! I love the idea of electric bikes.

what do you hope to accomplish by trying to insult someone? are you racist? do you hate people who speak a language you don't? How arrogant and rude. I'm humbled by how nice and un-threatening she is to put up with the very immature and hurtful behavior. I cant respect someone who so blindly attacks another person for some bull **** reason. Stop going off the topic to try and break downs someones spirit. Grow up people! this isn't youtube! you cant just go around and try to start a flame war. From what I have seen with her putting up with all this, all i can say is that she is a damn good moderator, and i think its time we all realized the harm some members are trying to do. its just wrong.
FYI - my insult wasn't intended for sianelle. it was for the types who think they're so much better than anybody else because they're "electric-only" and it's their way or the highway. I've always FULLY supported sianelle and will continue to do so when I can.
I'm racist? I'm only as racist as YOU...

Well bless you, that was really interesting.
The intent behind Latin scholarship was that it was a universal language that enabled scholars and churchmen from different countries to communicate with one another. In many ways English - and French to a certain degree, - have become the universal languages of the world and Latin has fallen out of use. However for anyone who is interested in the study of the Early Church, Latin is well worth the effort to learn.
That wiki link wasn't meant for you - it was for the "I'm outta here!" bunch. Pretty funny that 40-60 people can be so worked up and divisive about something so related. Oh well, all the best to you and all you do - you're a kind and helpful mod.
Sounds like pocket bike chain to me.

Sister Annie -
This is my first visit to this particular forum and I must say that I am impressed with your patience. You do a good job.
Uh oh - I understand that you need to run, bile clean-up on aisle 2.

Kind of hard to find the words to say after reading this. But one thing for sure, Sister Annie is a saint and some people take their Internets way too seriously.
