sooo, I've been lurking on this site every now and then for a while now, so I decided to give in and join.

I bought a jamis hybrid from my local bike store in Carrol Gardens during the blackout in 2003 mostly as a means of transportation, as mass transit was knocked out for what at the moment was an indeterminable amount of time. Although admittedly my initial motivation for getting a bike was the utilitarian necessity of a means of commuting to work, I quickly rediscovered the thrill of riding, and weather permitting, it is still my preferred means of getting around town.

A few months ago I sprung for a khs flite 100, and having a blast learning the ins and outs of riding a fixed gear bike. I still have a lot to learn, which is what brings me to this forum. I'll try not to be too annoying, being a noob and all..

You won't be annoying to me, nor to most of the other members. The ones who get annoyed--well, they were once new as well, and should be ashamed of themselves for not wanting to stop and help out the new guy!

Enjoy the KHS :D .

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !
