Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but I thought it would be great if fellow BF'ers could keep an eye out as they're riding, surfing Craigslist, etc. My friend's bike was stolen in Palo Alto this morning. It's a new Madone 5.1, size 62cm frame, black with yellow accents. It's set up with a MTB derailleur and an IRD 11-32 cassette, with Ultegra everything else. My friend just completed his first Death Ride on this bike, which makes its loss that much more painful. Please PM me if you come across this bike online or in person. Thanks!

I'll keep an eye out for it. 62cm is a rather large frame size. Hopefully it turns up, that really sucks man. Do you have any specifics on where it was last seen? Bike Shop? 7-11? Garage?

That really sucks. It's one thing to take a man's money; but to take his ride...? [Effecting a glinting Clint Eastwood in "Unforgiven"] Will definitely keep an eye out for this one.

Yes, that's the one, stolen while my friend was visiting someone at the hospital. Thanks to all for keeping an eye out!

If anyone sees me riding *my* Madone 5.1, please break out the measuring tape and note that it is a 56cm before jumping me.
