Foo - Foo Jersey

Why does it not surprise me this was brought up a year ago, and nothing ever came about? :p Come on Foo, we can make this thread go at least 7 pages with nothing being done :thumb:

I already have both designs of the Texas BikeForums jersey and I dig on some of teh socal norcal jerseys.

To make it happen, skip the design contests and skip the voting polls.

Design it in the background, get an editorial eye from one or two others you trust, and then put out a thread that says, "Here it is. Let's get the order going."

It may not seem like more fun, but it also doesn't descend into "I want this" and "But I don't want that" from others, which oftentimes happens in jersey design threads I've seen.

Look at the recent So Cal jersey. Out of the chaos of design suggestions and polls, someone saw one they liked, took the reins and made the order happen.

In one of the other forums I'm on - surprisingly we all agreed to do it and agreed on the design thanks to a couple of devoted members and just received it a couple weeks ago. Pretty cool looking. Will post a pic of it when I get back next week.

Just to prove your not going crazy:roflmao2:... I started a design. But found the design taking on a totally different direction. I'm still working on it actually. Having the hardest of times getting the Red Head Stranger on a bike, with Matthew McConaughey not only sucking his wheel, but the second hand smoke.

My vote is already for the artifaced killer knify lobster. There will be an artiface killer knify lobster, right? :p

I PMed Artifice with the idea, and in case anyone else is working on an alternate design, I would like to suggest that any designers consider putting Tracey's avatar somewhere on the jersey.

I'm not talking about making this a jersey in tribute to Stacey, so not the focus, but just put the avatar on a shoulder or somewhere else out of the way of the main design.

With the timing, I think it is something some of us in Foo would appreciate, and I do think the avatar captures one aspect of the spirit of Foo as well... and in the spirit of Foo, it doesn't even have to represent Stacey to those who don't want it to.

I know (hope) that Stacey isnt gone yet, so I would love to put something together that would include Staceys SWEET ASS rat avitar! Kinda like a tribute to the crazy, funny, Koo Koo, over the top, and insanely entertaining Stacey :) I can do something on paper as Im a computer tart, I can scan and post it some time this week end if you guys are interested? Let me know either way as Im going to make one for myself anyways ;)
