Northfield, MN has an annual Jesse James Days celebration (http://djjd.org/), and the Bike Tour (http://jessejamesbiketour.org/) is one of their main events. The ride this year benefits the Mill Towns Trail (http://www.milltownstrail.org/), a senic trail in Southern MN.
History: Northfield is home to the downfall of the Jesse James Gang. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_james#Downfall_of_the_Gang)
Lots of options for this scenic ride.

Townsfolk/10 mi. 8:00-10The 100 miler traverses some of the most beautiful country in southern Minnesota, including the Sogn Valley–a hidden gem, the Faribault lakes area, and rolling rural hills. Great tests! Exhilarating rides!
