Well it had to happen sometime, but today was the first time in 3-4 years that I weighed in under 200 pounds. The "official" scale at the gym has me in at 198. I had my body fat checked and it is down to 21 percent. I started at over 220 pounds, but don't know what my body fat was at that point. I put in the technically part because I have lost 4 pounds of my muscle mass. If I had not lost that I would still be over 200. Still, I am fairly happy with the results. I also put on a pair of pants that I have not worn in over 3 years and took in one more notch on my belt today. The gal at the gym suggested that I increase my calorie intake, do weights 2 days a week and add more protein to my diet to get the muscle back on. I still have another 10 to 15 pounds to go, but this was the first goal that I wanted to complete, plus do my first metric before the the summer ended. I mailed off my paperwork for the metric today, so I am going after that goal next.
