I like them. Nice ease, freedom, and economy of brush strokes.

Wow! Those are excellent--love them, especially 'Photo Finish' and the stage 8 Mark Cavendish.

thanks guys
yes i like it loose, catch a bit of speed, light and atmosphere....
no point counting spokes, cameras do that better than brushes.

don't know if there would be enough interest for prints ettsn
these are small studies, would like to do some big oils...

Carlito!

So nice guys do finish first!
Carlos Sastre couldn't have won the 2008 tour without his team CSC
but he still had to climb that Alpe d'Heuz and time the trial...
.

Did you know his fanclub is in Belgium?
they knew it all the way!
.

Enjoy the Champs-Elysees everyone!

Very nice, robema. Big oils would definitely be good. I've got a litho of this (http://www.lahainagalleries.com/guy_buffet/hills.htm)one by Guy Buffet (92/300).

Robema, these are beautiful, and just incredibly done. I especially love the Sastre tt, and the Champs-Elysees painting is just gorgeous. "Cavcut" is also amazing, in how well you've captured the wet pavement.

I liked your quote above, about letting the camera count spokes, rather than the brush. That was great.

You have an incredible gift, and I thank you for sharing your gift with the rest of us.

Robema,

I agree with Dagna about 'Photo Finish'. You've really captured the essence of an epic sprint finish.

Also, I quite like your Eddy Merckx piece. Fine job.
