I am now officialy warning those people in the southern half of Colarado that they are about to be invaded.hehe
Tuesday night we load up in the family truckster and head to Montrose Co. So if you are riding along and see a brown Chevy Astro with a bunch of bikes hanging off of it and a bunch of stuff on top with Oregon plates that would be us.
Going to go see the inlaws and have our first real vacation in 4 years. We are all getting antsey now.
There will be the wife and I and four of the five kids going so yes we will be really loaded down. We all are looking forward to this.
On another thread it was asked what was we going to spend our checks on, well this it it. One final big family vacation. Untill fuel prices go down or something it will be just short trips from here on.
Later peoples

You will be fine with Oregon plates. Texas plates on the other hand, not so much. Have a nice vacation.

On a serious note- in Colorado don't drive after ANY amount of alcohol. I have professionally
come in contact with quite a few people who tell me that cops in Colorado will try anything
to get a DUI arrest. I think they have some deal where they get federal money for every
arrest.

That's right!

Nobody really remembers why we hate the Texans, but we do.

You shouldn't. You have land that used to be ours, and we spend a lot of money in Colorado too.

 Yes, and I'll bet they can't really tell you why.

To be fair, we love Oregon, Washington, and Alaska (which is a bigger carbon-copy of Colorado, but colder). We hate the East coast for it's socialist idiocy, but we don't blame it, as it was contaminated by DC. We love the entire "fly-over" country, and the western half of Florida, plus some of Maine, but not Chicago, Kansas City, or the lower 4/5's of California.

Talk to any Coloradan, they'll agree, but don't talk to any that's moved here in the last 20 years, we hate them.

We're sorry about all the bumper stickers that say, "Welcome to Colorado, Now go the H*** Home!" They're mandatory under state law.

But if you were coming in from Wisconsin with cheese brats and some Leinenkugel's, I could get you in for the rest of the summer.

I would do the same for you and the family, Rick G, but what kind of delicious pork products do we know of from Oregon?

Traitor :notamused:

If I get your drift, I really don't think you want to come out here, it's thick with guys that have broken up with their girlfriends, and my nephews have snatched up the four best looking women in the state.

But then again, there probably is a few more. You might even find yourself one of those blond, ponytailed, baseball cap wearing, dog in the front seat sporting a red bandana, top down, CJ5 jeep driving, girls.

Oh no, I've lived here 28 of my 30 years. I'm just calling you a traitor because you're giving away all of our secrets...:p

Ah...my mistake. For some reason your posts always gave me the impression you lived somewhere out nearer Artifice's part of the country.

You know I haven't given away anything important, please don't report me to the.....committee.
