Oh, yeah, james, sounds yummy! Yep, sure does. And double strength makes it twice as yummy! Oh, boy! :D
I've found if you have to grow accustomed to the taste of something, it usually tastes weird. Think I'll stick to gatorade and hydrogenated oxygen.

Maybe.regular strength is extremely weak.I think it is least as good as new Moxie. It is also considerably cheaper.I find that if you heat some fresh Ginger in a small crock pot and use that water in your switchel it adds considerable bite. I am a big fan of Ginger beer and candied ginger. I will admit however that a tall cool glass of hydrogenated oxygen is hard to beat on a hot day or whenever thirst arises. It would definitely take a stick. Of course anything can be beaten with a stick. :D P.s The original post where I write I've grown accustomed to its taste should be sung to the tune of I've grown accustomed to Her face (From my Fair lady) for proper effect.

I love ginger, too, especially with Sashimi, Osushi, and other Japanese delicacies. I also make a mean ginger pork chop.

I must admit though ,on Gilligans Island Marianne always had more appeal for me. I could never get into that whole movie star Bit. Marianne was more down to earth. I was really hoping someone would have been familiar and perhaps even enthusiastic about (switchel) it. That they might remember switchel from their Childhood. I think it is a Southern or Appalachian thing.
