So I just got finished taking my Senior pictures and I had some of them taken with my bike. They told me I could use a prop (any prop) that I wanted, so I brought my ss/fg Capo. :). They said that it was the first time anyone had brought a bike in and I was wondering if you guys think it was a cool idea. I should get the proofs in about 2 weeks so I will be sure to post them to see what everyone thinks.

Hey, why not? It sure beats the generic head/shoulders shots from back in my day.

I don't get the proofs for another 2 weeks, but as soon as I get them, I will be sure to post them. I was just wondering if anyone else had done something like this or had thought about it. :)

Your senior picture, no matter how well taken, will be a badge of dorkiness in ten years. Usually I'd say go for it, anything to make your picture unique, but there's something about senior pictures that's prone to dork morphing. Even the cool kids in my yearbooks (a group to which I never belonged) look completely ridiculous twenty years later. That's the cruel hand of fashion at work.

That being said, I so wish I had a picture taken of me in high school with my Bianchi road bike, which is no longer due to a recent accident.

I skipped senior-picture day and rode my Huffy to Jeff Malone's house and smoked a joint in his garage. Looking back 22 years, I'm glad I did that.

I was voted "Most likely to end up in prison" and I did! as a Phila. Corrections Officer! I then went on to a satisfying career as a Phila. Fire Fighter! (I showed them! )

I was voted "Most likely to end up living in a trailer, smoking and selling crack, peddling gay porn film, and will be, by the age of 30, discovered dead in a snuff film." I ended up marrying a beautiful girl, owning a nice home in Silicon valley, and running a respectable business.

I still hate my senior year. Fu<king Flock of Seagulls and Vanilla Ice.

It's in twenty or thirty years you will be so glad you did...

hehe, true, such a big deal is made of senior pictures/prom/etc, when nobody will give two hoots about them the year after.

they're fun to laugh at after several years time though.

I think senior pictures are great. Make sure one goes to aunt Margie.

EDIT: as much as I wish, the cool dude in this picture is not me, because while he was taking his handsome senior picture ^ I was smoking a joint in Jeff Malone's garage while listening to Pink Floyd and discussing our fantasy about Kyle's step-mother, Stephanie.
