i just wanted to know which one is best because ive seen a giant halfway for sale in wales and i just want to know if i shouldve kept my money for maybe a better opportunity :twitchy:

the halfway is one of the newer models with the built in rear carry rack and painted black.

I own a Halfway. I like the bike, but I wouldn't say that it's better than a Trek or Dahon. The only thing that really separates it from other bikes is the single sided fork design. It certainly looks cool, but it's a pain to replace parts on the bike... and there aren't really any upgrade options beyond tires and handlebars.

I think you made the right decision on the Trek. You can sleep soundly.

thanks, it should arrive tomorrow (if it doesnt its lost because its 48hr delivery so should of arrived today) so i cant wait :D if im lucky i might be able to get the giant aswell, even though im out of pocket

I do, be happy with your bike! You got a lovely one, the halfway isn't quite as good and too similar. Save your money lol!

I have owned several folders and the Trek had all quality components and compared to Dahon you would have to get to the $900+ bikes before you see that kind of quality.

Trust me... you don't see that kind of quality on the Giant Halfway. The parts are decent, but not great. And now with my hinge problems, I really wish I had a more trustworthy Dahon hinge.

I've been very happy with the Trek F400 and have had no problems with it. Have had it for three years and do ride it in winter weather.

ok thanks im glad i got the trek then :D im gunna see if i can pick it up from the post office station in town.
