Hello all, I am new to this site and new to biking. I live in Minneapolis, MN and I ride a Robin Hood Single-Speed bike (That's all I have been able to figure out about it.) I recently became tired of having to deal with my car and I now bike to work and pretty much everywhere else. I'm here to try and figure out exactly what kind of bike it is or if it was converted. So if anyone knows anything that would be super helpful!!! Thanks!

Hello SelinaKyle16, if I'm not mistaken, the Robin Hood bicycles were Raleighs? But, you can check with the folks in the Classic & Vintage forum (bring photos!), and you should be able to get more definitive information.
Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !

Welcome to BF...
About your bike...
Raleigh absorbed just about every small British manufacturer by the early 60's and produced Robin Hood bicycles as a mid level model.
I would guess your bike is an original single speed with a coaster brake and would love to see some pictures of the bike and especially the rear hub to see if it is English or North American in origin as that does have some bearing on it's care and feeding.
The guys in C&V can expound on your bike far better than I can and insist on pictures.
Cheers!

Thank you! When I looked up the bike online all I could find were 3-speeds so I was confused. I will definitely get some pictures of it soon. I just bought it this week for 10$ and it definitely needs some tlc, so I have been working on that. Thank you so much!!
