So the day has finally come and tomorrow my wife and I will be headed north from Orcas Island to Sidney, BC via Friday Harbour and then up the old Trans-Canada Hwy to Campbell River then to Quadra Island and Cortes Island then reverse. Our accommodations include a mix between B&Bs, motels, camping at provincial parks, Couch Surfing (http://www.couchsurfing.com), and Warm Showers (http://www.WarmShowers.org).
Thanks to GW's Economic Stimulus checks, we will be spending that money and two weeks on our yearly Canadian pilgrimage.
I will blog about the trip on our website (www.bluesteelroads.com) including pictures, video, and hopefully GPS route updates (if I can figure out how to do that).
