Greetings. I just starting riding Trails with my Pine Mountain 29er SS. What computer would you recommend that would capture distance, time and cadence? I am looking for a durable unit. Thanks.

I love my VDO c3ds. It does all those things and held up through rain and mud pretty well.

Cataye Astrale 8 or Strada cadence. They make a more durable model, heavier wire, but I do not believe it has cadence. You can verify that.

I bought a handlebar mount for my Delorme PN20 GPS. The PN20 shows the speed and location and shows you where you are on the map. The trip info shows average speed, the maximum speed, the time moving and the time standing still, and the distance traveled. I didn't buy the GPS unit just for my bike, but it works great on it.
