I did an intro in the intro section but thought I'd post my story here too.
We just bought a Catrike Villager and have another one on order for my wife. The primary purpose of this investment was for me to get in shape. I have next to no stamina. My first trike ride around the block totaly wore me out. One week later I can go around twice - still tuckered out, but able to at least get up and get a water from my rear bag.
I had them take the water bottle off of the front beam on the trike - where it was installed was, shall we say dangerous and I didn't want to have to wear any more protective gear.
It has been decades since I rode a bike. I'm hoping the amount of the investment will keep this frugle fat boy cycling until I get my money's worth.
I live in Fort Kent, in North Eastern Alberta, out near Cold Lake. I've never seen a recumbent, never mind a recumbent trike in these parts so I guess I will be a bit of an oddity in this village on my Villager.
