...was like the middle of winter. Fog (more like rain in parts), slick roads, windy, low visibility. I was very glad to get down from the ridge today.

While we were driving out of the area, it looked pretty soupey from Hwy 24. Davis was a good call for today. Sorry. :o

But after riding through the soup, Diablo was in rare perfection. Went all the way to the tip top for the first time. Temp was 85, skies super clear, and the air was better than it has been for ages.
One thing about Grizzly this morning that was cool was watching riders disappear into the fog ahead of me.
