Which way does the cog thread on the hub?

There is a "flat side" is this the inside or outside (lockring side) of the bub. Cog is DA

PJ the moron.

You're not dumb...the question is. J/K
Actually, we have you diagnosed with Karsten's disease. But we like both of you.
Have you tried threading it on the hub yet?

The 'shoulder' of the cog threads on the inside. The 'flat side' meets the lockring.

Fixer...once again, you have proven to be the better fixie-rator than I. But a pile of rags is better than me, so this may be an off-handed insult. I am still trying to find a way to ensure you DO NOT win the track bike I just posted about on eBay...
:D

Testing has proven that 165-48:17 is the equal of a pile of rags. So buck up little camper.

Hey Rev. from one Chuck to another, I'd rather have a pile of Rags than 165 anyday, especially if I were working on my bike.

Yeah, I'm not so smart all the time. MUst be because of the giant snowstorm we're supposed to be getting.

Or maybe it's because I wa so heartbroken about my cracked fork (see other post) and couldn't think straight.
