Google map "power coating" and call auto body and motorcycle building places for where they send their parts. If you want a durable finish, don't paint it.

Powdercoat is awesome! However, having it done a shop that's used to doing bikes is a good idea. It would be helpful to post your location, so folks who might be local can chime in with recommendations.
Olympic Powdercoat in Santa Ana, CA is great.
If you do a search on the forums for 'powdercoat', you'll no doubt find numerous threads with people expounding on the benefits. It's way more durable than wet paint, even a professional paintjob. You will however need to have a bike shop cut the powdercoat off the ends of your headtube, BB shell and fork crown.
I'm way happy with the powdercoat I had put on my track bike, and the factory coat on my Surly, Not nearly so satisfied with any normal paint i've ever had on a bike.

Actually, unless you're doing something really fancy, sandblasting and powdercoating a bike should cost about $50 to $100
My bike was $90 for a special order color.
If you don't have a co-op bike repair space or friend with the tools, should be another $25 or so for chase and face at a bike shop.
I've sprayed my own bikes, but wet paint is just not as durable. Rattlecans are definitely cheap though, I certainly wouldn't pay to get a bike wet painted though.

In Pittsburgh about $50 to $60 for media blasting + 1 colour, $100 to $120 for two colour or candy.
