Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - lengthen time for message popup?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Would it be possible to lengthen the time for the popup message box to stay up when you put your cursor on a subject line? This is a neat feature but it only stays up for a few seconds, it would be nice if it would stay up as long as the cursor is over the link.

This is not a feature of the forums, it is a feature of your browser, I have no control of the pop up time. With IE, the popup should stay as long as you dont move the cursor. Not sure about other browsers.
Joe - I am using IE6 right now, at my other Win98 machine I use IE5. On both machines the popup (maybe not correct term) stays up for about 10 seconds, then goes away. I can repeat and it does it every time...
My popup stays up as long as I keep it over the thread subject....
I have IE 5, I think. Maybe IE 6.. whatever that newest one is, it's one version older.

Interesting. My mouse-over lasts for approximately six seconds. I run IE5.5, so perhaps there is a way to alter it.
