What would happen if I did the following?

12v 12Ah
12v 10Ah

and connected these two together serially to get 24v?

I am electrically ********, but trying to learn.

I have a junkyard 24v system 12v 10 Ah (x2) with a 350 watt motor. I have another battery that is 12v 7.2Ah and one that is 12v 12Ah, and I just don't want battery acid on my butt!

Thanks!

If there is an idiots guide to e-bike electric theory, please point me to it.

It'll work fine, but output will be limited to the output of the 10A batt (really 2, 10A batteries) . after it gets too low, the voltage will suffer.
