I just finished cleaning it, so I thought it would be a good time to share some pictures.

I built it to her specifications It had to have an upright riding position, a comfortable seat, indexed shifting and a kickstand.

The derailers and hubs are Shimano 600 tricolor. Yes, it has a derailer claw. The Espree wasn't exactly top of the line.

The crankset is a 600 Abaresque. I spent a week stripping and polishing it.

Shimano 600 brakes. The fenders are purple heart and zebrawood from cody672 on eBay.
The headlugs are nicely thinned.

The bag is a Zefal, the rack is a Jim Blackburn, the tires are Panaracer Pasela 28c folding Tourguards, the rims are Mavic MA40 and the spokes are DT Competition.

The shifters are 8 speed Ultegra bar end shifters on Suntour thumbshifter mounts. I staind the cork grips to match the saddle.

"A thing of beauty is a joy forever," wrote the poet. You've done the same in metal, cork, and leather. Awesome.
