Road Cycling - # of spokes vs. rider weight

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I am in search of another set of wheels for my road bike. My current wheels are Open pros with 32h w/3x lacing front and rear. That was recommended from Mark at Habanero when I got my bike. I found these: Clicky (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3656407011&category=36144&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT&rd=1) and am wondering about the front rim with 28 raidial lacing.
Would that be strong/durable enough for me at 235 lbs.? I like the color too. :p
Thanks in advance.

I don't know about these wheels, but I know what works for my bulky-ass. I'm 6'3" and 250lbs, and I have had great success with Cane Creek Arrowhead wheels. I used them all last summer and never had one problem through five triathlons and training. I found that they are a heck of a bargain and you can get them for about $250 for the pair if you shop around. Here is the ling to them on Nashbar. http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?category=&subcategory=&brand=1114&sku=8293&storetype=&estoreid=

The front is laced 3-Cross, not radially.
It is only 4 less spokes per wheel. Get them If you like the color, but perfomance gains are going to be very slight to negligible.
That said if the 32's are holding up, the 28's probably will too. You will find yourself truing them more often after crossing railroad tracks etc.

Sorry, I got two items confused. Those wheels are both 28 and 3 cross.
Do you mean the performance gains from the color :D, or from the fewer spokes? I am not worried about performance but rather longevity. If the 28 spoke wheels are going to need more TLC than I should look elsewhere for some cool looking 32h wheels :( . Thanks for your input.
