Was there last week. There is a 9 mile loop with 900 ft of climb right on resort that is nice. Or you can ride out past Dorchester Golf Course and make your way to Crab Orchard. It about 10 miles out. On your way back in you can detour over toward Druid Hills and there is an out and back that is nice. All the roads are very nice, a little chip seal but not much. All that area is very "lumpy" as Liggett would say. Carry your climbing shoes. Just stay off Peavine Road. Too much traffic. Very congested.

Cool, thx for the tips. Too bab about Peavine, I was wanting to do some long ones and get out on the back roads.

Peavine has essentially no shoulder and it is very very busy with traffic. The only way in and out of Fairfield Glade which has become a very popular resort and retirement destination. Too many cars for one road in and out. Have fun. I really enjoyed riding in the area.
