So I am currently trying to remove the bb on a Schwinn Traveler fixed gear project (don't know the year, maybe early 90's) and I have removed the lockring and adjustable cup. However, I am struggling with the fixed cup. I am trying to use the home made tool that Sheldon recommended, but it seems as though I am tightening it even more. This frame should have English threading, so per his instructions, I need to tighten the nut on the outside (cranking it clockwise), which seems counter intuitive. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I greatly appreciate the help as I am trying to avoid having a mechanic do it.
