They are not fixable, the data sheet says. But has anyone ever taken one apart? They seem to be unavailable from VP any more, and bike shops are selling out fast. And their cleats do not appear in the catalog any more either.
So I bought a couple of pair today to replace the current ones when they fail. Very inexpensive. I like them a lot - very compact, two sided, easy in and out. Of course, the new ones are yellow to match the bike. :rolleyes:
I guess when the first one fails, I will dissect it and see if one can really fix them or not.
