Hi,
I'm using my road bike on a CycleOps Fluid2 trainer with the Spinervals videos. The coach does all kinds of drills shifting between the small chainring and big chainring. My problem is that under the load of the trainer, shifting from the small ring to the big ring is very difficult or impossible.

On the road when I actually need to shift to the big ring (I've spun out the small ring going downhill or something) it shifts perfectly because there is no load.

Is there a way to remedy this? Is my front derailer misadjusted? If I loosen the stop to let the derailer move out further, it helps with the trainer but drops the chain off on the road.
Thanks,
Henry

Iv'e had trouble, but corrected it by spinning faster. If it is ok on the road don't adjust it.

I'll try spinning faster... thing with the Fluid2 is that the faster you spin, the more load it puts on the wheel :D.
