Hey, any interesting experiences with the earthquake in SoCal today? Anyone riding while the ground began to shake?

It was a biggie; I was sitting in my office in Irvine (about 20 miles away) and the building shook like dammit. I live in La Habra (about 10 miles away) and I guess it was worse there.

Evidently, I have new cracks in my driveway. :(

I was in Irvine too. I work at UCI. I was adminstering a final exam. Needless to say, I had the students finish thier finals outside (there were only five minutes left, and the few stragglers were cool with staying outside). It was quite a shake.

I thought this thread was going to be about QUAKE the video game where the FPS character was riding a fixie. :P

Felt the ground slide to the side. It was wierd. Wasn't on a bike though, so can't help you there.
