Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I just decided to buy a new bike after not biking for a few years. I mostly decided because I need a way to get around since I do not have my license yet. I will be living off campus at school, so I need a way to get there. I ended up buying a Diamondback Insight 1 after trying to find a bike on Craigslist for 2 months. I knew not to get a bike that is too expensive and will lock it up well. I think it gives me a good cross training opportunity because I am a runner. This site has already helped a lot with the research into what I need, so I figured I might as well join and have some helpful posts of my own.

Welcome Wildcat,
I just joined this summer too. Looking forward to riding my new recumbent.

Hello Wildcatnj, the Insight isn't a bad bike at all, and it is indeed cheap enough so that you don't have to worry too much if it gets stolen (although, of course, that would be a bad thing :( ).

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !
