My yukon came with mx-4 cable discs. I honestly don't have much complaining except it doesn't bite predictably. Also the bite fades sometimes. Otherwise for mild riding, or city riding its fine. I notice my pads are starting to wear out a lot and rather then getting new pads I was thinking about getting hydro brakes. On ebay I can get a pre bled shimano xt m775 kit minus the discs. Can I use my mx-4 6" discs with this ? Also for a little more I can get from a local bike shop juicy 7's that do come with discs. Should I go with an upgrade? which upgrade ?

I've had good luck with XT's, Juicy's, and even Deore hydros. Avid BB7's would be better than the hayes your running. You can use your rotors with all of the ones mentioned.
